The Alabama men's basketball team has a chance to put the finishing touches on one of the nation's best recruiting classes when two of its top targets announce their decisions on Thursday.

Five-star point guard Collin Sexton will be first up. The nation's 7th-best player for 2017 will make his decision known on ESPNU sometime after 5PM. The Mableton, Ga., standout has 28 total offers but recruiting analysts believe it will come down to Alabama and Kansas for his signature.

A couple hours after Sexton makes his announcement, Mae Jemison guard John Petty will make his decision at halftime of his basketball game, which begins at 7PM. The Kentucky Wildcats were considered the heavy favorite for the four-star but Avery Johnson's staff has closed strong.

The Crimson Tide's 2017 class is already ranked 24th after signing Galin Smith, Alex Reese, and Herb Jones on Wednesday. If the program can land Sexton and Petty and Thursday, the class would jump to No. 3 in the country and tops in the SEC.
