The NBA world received a big shock today when Donovan Mitchell was traded from the Utah Jazz to the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, one player that the Jazz received in return for Mitchell's services is none other than University of Alabama standout Collin Sexton.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are the first team to extend a formal contract offer to former University of Alabama star and current free agent Collin Sexton. Sexton has been listed by many analysts as the top remaining free agent available for teams to sign after the initial boom of free agency before NBA Summer League action began.
The NBA free agency period has been nothing short of entertaining this offseason as teams sign players to new deals with some of them being warranted and others unprecedented, but no free agent remains as unclear of his final destination than Collin Sexton.
