Who is Alabama Freakiest Player on Defense?
When you have a roster full of multiple four and five-star athletes like Alabama, you're bound to get some stories of freaky levels of athleticism.

Alabama left tackle Kadyn Proctor can squat 800 pounds and has a 32-inch vertical jump, according to Bruce Feldman. Rico Scott ran 23.5 miles per hour. Jaeden Roberts can squat 900 pounds. Alabama's roster is loaded with monstrous players.
But who is the freakiest player, from an athletic standpoint, on Alabama's roster?
There are several options, with the previously mentioned Proctor, Roberts, and Scott. Could it be Ryan Williams, who was named to the Paul Hornung Award Watch List last week? Could it be LT Overton, who has an unnatural bend to get to the quarterback?
Alabama defensive coordinator Kane Wommack gave his thoughts on who it is.
"I think Qua is, in a room full of freaky people, Qua is the freakiest," Wommack said.
Russaw said he wants to be compared to NFL Hall of Famer James Harrison when discussing his game. Defensive coordinator Kane Wommack hadn't thought about Qua playing like that.
"I haven’t thought about that necessarily from that perspective, but James Harrison is one that I would like Qua to play like as well," he said. "I think Qua is, in a room full of freaky people, Qua is the freakiest. He is freaky athletic and I think he is a special talent in terms of his strength. You watch him at the point of attack, when we start talking about violent hands, which is one of our ‘Bama fundamentals that we continue to stress and harp on, Qua’s ability to destroy blocks and get off and make plays. There was a play against Auburn, a guy came and pulled against him, and I mean, he [Qua] absolutely obliterated him at the point of attack. Those are things that show up on tape in terms of his strength and physicality.
"But ultimately it’s about knowing. What I like about Qua is knowing when to and when not to from a physical standpoint, be too aggressive. And I think he’s learned a lot, last year with the experience that he had, and I think he’s, what I could call, has turned himself into a controlled, aggressive player."
