The Houston Texans defeated the New England Patriots 20-9 on Thursday night, both teams first preseason games.

Eight former Crimson Tide players are rostered between the two organizations.

Mac Jones, Christian Barmore, Mack Wilson Sr., and Anfernee Jennings play for the Patriots and Will Anderson Jr., Henry To'oTo'o, Christian Harris, and John Metchie III play for the Texans.

After the game, the group shared a special moment on the field.

Jennings was the lone Alabama alumnus to take the field for the Patriots. He recorded one tackle.

The Texans played every former Crimson Tide player on the team. To'oTo'o had the best night, recording five tackles including two solo. Anderson and Harris each recorded a solo tackle, and Metchie recorded one reception for five yards.

New England takes on Green Bay on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. CT and Houston takes on Miami on Aug. 19 at 3 p.m. CT for their second preseason games of the season.
