Alabama Baseball Crushes Bradley 19-4 on Saturday
Tuscaloosa, AL — In game two of the Tide's three-game series versus the Braves to start the 2025 season, Alabama thrashed Bradley 19–4 to clinch the series win.
Alabama began the first inning with a bang, holding the Braves scoreless, while Tide starting pitcher Riley Quick recorded two strikeouts in his first inning pitched since last year, when the Tide defeated Manhattan 4-0 and Quick suffered an elbow injury that required season-ending surgery.

Alabama's offense was a huge part of their win today, with Justin Lebron hitting a big double to set the Tide up with Bryce Fowler at third and Lebron at second. Following Lebron's hit, Fowler scored on a wild pitch for the Tide's first run of the game.
Following that, Garret Staton blasted a tremendous single to center field, bringing home Lebron and Will Hodo, giving the Crimson Tide a 3-0 lead at the end of the first inning.
Neither team scored in the second inning, with Bradley coming close, but Alabama's redshirt sophomore pitcher Riley Quick retained his calm and struck out the final batter, leaving the Braves with two runners stranded at second and third base.
Alabama dominated the third inning, scoring six points to take a nine-point lead after three innings of play. This inning began with Alabama's third baseman Jason Torres splitting a double between right and center field, bringing Lebron home and moving Will Hodo to third.
Shortly after, Alabama's left fielder Kade Snell doubled to center field, bringing home Hodo and Torres, giving the Tide two more runs in the inning.
Following Bradley's pitching change, Crimson Tide designated hitter Coleman Mizell's single pushed Snell home, and a fielder's decision gave the Tide another run, extending their advantage to nine runs.
Alabama remained perfect on defense, holding the Braves scoreless in the fourth inning courtesy of a solid inning by Crimson Tide pitcher Hagan Banks, who relieved Quick and threw two beautiful strikeouts.
The Crimson Tide bats continued on a spree for the rest of the game, with Alabama hitting two home runs in the fourth inning, one of which was a grand slam by Staton, who finished the day with 6 RBIs and went 2-2 with a home run.
Throughout the game, Alabama kept expanding its advantage as seven different players scored two or more runs, and Bradley was unable to stop the Tide's barrage.
