It's been a tale of two seasons for Alabama baseball.

The first half of the year saw the Crimson Tide climb into the top 10 in national polls with sole possession of first place in the SEC.

The second half included losses in 10 of the final 16 games before a first-round exit in the SEC Tournament on Tuesday.

Following the 7-1 loss to Kentucky in Hoover, head coach Mitch Gaspard met with the media along with outfielder Georgie Salem and pitcher Jay Shaw. All three talked about how tired the team is after a difficult stretch of games and that they'll use the extra time off to prepare for the NCAA regional.
