The University of Alabama men's basketball team released the SEC TV schedule for the Crimson Tide on Thursday. The conference slate starts with Tennessee on Dec. 29 at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

The games during this season include single games against: Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and Texas A&M. The Tide will play home-and-home series against: Missouri, Auburn, Mississippi State, LSU, and Kentucky. Eight games will be on ESPN/2/U, eight games will be on the SEC Network, and two games will be on CBS.

Last year, the Tide went 18-2 against SEC opponents, the only losses coming from (18) Missouri and (20) Arkansas. They won the SEC Championship, and lost in the Sweet 16 round of March Madness to UCLA in an 88-78 overtime defeat.

Only two conference teams ended the season in the Top 25, according to ESPN- the Tide at No. 5 overall, and the Arkansas Razorbacks at No. 6.

ESPN's "Way Too Early Top 25" ranked the Tide at No. 15 for the start of this season, after their historic run in 2021.

However, this season looks bright starting off for the Southeastern Conference, as five teams are ranked for ESPN. The other teams that made the cut include: Kentucky, sitting on top at No. 8, Arkansas is No. 13, Tennessee No. 17, and Auburn No. 21.

Other notable opponents for the Crimson Tide season are: Baylor, Gonzaga, Houston, Memphis, and Iona, a rematch from the first round of last years March Madness tournament.

The first game of the season is Nov. 9, against Louisiana Tech at Coleman Coliseum- time and network TBD.
