Arguably the best in the country resides in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Courtney Morgan arrived with head coach Kalen DeBoer from Seattle, Washington, when DeBoer was hired by Alabama. The buzz around him immediately began once he stepped off the plane.

Morgan is known as one of the top recruiters in the country, if not the top recruiter in the country. Morgan helped craft the national championship rosters of both Michigan and Washington - with starting cornerback Will Johnson calling Morgan "the G.O.A.T."

Morgan has Alabama sitting with the No. 2 overall recruiting class in August 2024. He's been the constant factor that many recruits mentioned as an instrumental factor in their Alabama recruitment.

How long can Alabama keep ahold of the greatest off-the-field mind in college football? If it comes down to contracts, Alabama's already ahead of the game there. The UA Board of Trustees is set to meet on Morgan's contract on Tuesday, August 20.

These meetings typically only happen when individuals are receiving contract extensions or pay raises.

There have been rumors of other programs trying to poach Morgan from Alabama. It doesn't take an insider to know Alabama wants to hold onto Morgan for as long as possible - especially when he's already delivering and showing why he is as good as advertised.
