The victory over the Missouri Tigers is Alabama's fourth win in SEC play this season, and it came on the backs of Latrell Wrightsell Jr. and Labaron Philon, with high percentage shooting from Wrightsell at the three-point line and Philon perfect from the free-throw line for the Crimson Tide. Wrightsell led the way with seven three-point shots on Tuesday night, shooting 70% from deep range. As a team, the Crimson Tide shot 38.5% from range. Wrightsell's seven makes were almost half of the made threes for Alabama on Tuesday (Alabama made 15).

Free throws had been an issue for the Crimson Tide in several of Alabama's losses this season, but that wasn't the case on Tuesday night, with Alabama making 23-26 shots at the line. A big note was the Crimson Tide's midseason addition of Charles Bediako, scoring 14 points on 4-5 shooting from the floor. Bediako righted the ship with his free throws, going a perfect 6-6 from the charity stripe. Bediako also ended the night with six rebounds for the Crimson Tide, second-most on the roster.

Fast-paced play was big for Alabama on Tuesday, with the Crimson Tide scoring 15 fast-break points and notching 10 steals. The Tide advanced to 14-6 (4-3) on the season, with Alabama's next game coming on Sunday, February 1, against the Florida Gators.
