Alabama DL Quinnen Williams Talks NFL Draft and Alabama’s Future
Alabama head coach Nick Saban announced on Friday four juniors entering the 2019 NFL Draft including offensive lineman Jonah WIlliams, running back Josh Jacobs, tight end Irv Smith Jr. and defensive lineman Quinnen Williams.
Jacobs enters the draft after a breakout season in the backfield rushing and receiving for 887 yards from scrimmage while Smith received for 710 yards and seven touchdowns.
The two Williams' were difference makers on both side of the football with Quinnen having the breakout year of all of college football with 71 total tackles and 8 sacks winning the Outland Trophy for the best lineman in the country and was named a first-team All-Amercian and All-SEC.
Quinnen Williams spoke to the media after the announcement was made about his draft status and he talked about how he became up with the decision, the coaching staff helping him grow as a player, and which young Crimson Tide defender will fill his role next season.
