When Alabama is playing on Saturdays in the fall, the college football world is watching. The Crimson Tide were a part of five of the ten most-watched college football games of the 2022 season.

Alabama dominated TV ratings in college football, whether it was the early start in the Big Noon Kickoff clash against Texas on FOX, the afternoon CBS prime time slot versus Tennessee and Ole Miss, or a night showdown versus LSU and Texas A&M. Ohio State was the next closest with three, LSU and Tennessee each had two. Despite the "Bama fatigue," the country will tune when the greatest dynasty in the history of college football is playing.

The Crimson Tide fell short of national championship expectations in 2022 but the team did clinch its 15th straight ten-win season under Nick Saban. Last year's Heisman trophy winner Bryce Young is the favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and garnered a ton of attention throughout the season. The Tide also features several All-American players, including Will Anderson, Brian Branch, Jahmyr Gibbs, Kool-Aid McKinstry, and Jordan Battle.

The large television audience is a major advantage in recruiting. It's a message to blue chip high school recruits and transfers in today's college football that if you want to play on the biggest stages and be on in front of the most people, come to Alabama.

Alabama will play its final game of the 2022 season on Saturday, Dec. 31 when they face Kansas State in the Sugar Bowl. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT and coverage will be on Tide 100.9.
