Alabama Ranked No. 1, Top 5 Remains Unchanged in Latest AP Poll

College football has officially hit the midway point of the 2016 season and not a lot has changed at the top of the rankings since August.

Alabama, which received 56 of the 61 first place votes, remains atop the latest AP Top 25 with Ohio State and Clemson right behind. Michigan and Washington round out the top five, which is exactly the same as the previous week.

The Crimson Tide's next two opponents, Tennessee (9th) and Texas A&M (6th), are ranked in the top 10. The SEC has seven teams in the poll, including Auburn making its debut for the first time this season.

Here are the Top 25 teams in The Associated Press college football poll, with first-place votes in parentheses, records through Oct. 10, total points based on 25 points for a first-place vote through one point for a 25th-place vote, and previous ranking.
