For the first time in years, the Alabama football team entered a season without a proven running back on the roster. There was plenty of talent and loads of recruiting stars on the roster, but no one with any significant playing experience.

That made this season a bit different for running backs coach Burton Burns. He's worked to develop a group of guys with Damien Harris, Joshua Jacobs, and Bo Scarbrough getting the majority of the carries.

He spent a few minutes with us at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl media days to talk about this unique season and how he's seen his players grow through the year. You can listen to that full conversation in the video above.
