No. 4 Alabama softball grabbed a huge series win against the No. 18 Georgia Bulldogs, winning two of three games, to put the Tide at 31-5 on the season, 8-4 in conference play, and 15-3 at home. On Wednesday, the Alabama softball social media announced the star(s) of the series: Lexi Kilfoyl, Ally Shipman, and Bailey Dowling.

Kilfoyl made three appearances against the Bulldogs, including: two starts and one relief. On Sunday, she pitched seven full innings, picking up: 7 hits, 3 earned runs, 4 walks, and 8 strikeouts.

On Monday, Kilfoyl pitched a perfect game with 10 strikeouts, aiding her to an SEC Pitcher of the Week award.

Catcher Ally Shipman had a big weekend as well, grabbing 5 hits, 2 homeruns, and 8 runs batted in, helping the Tide pick up the series win.

Shortstop Bailey Dowling also got the star nod, coming up with 4 hits, 2 walks, and a .600 on base percentage.

The Alabama Crimson Tide softball team travels to Gainesville, Fla., on Saturday to take on the No. 7 Florida Gators. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. CST on ESPN. Radio coverage will be on Me TV 97.5, beginning  at 3:50 p.m. CST.
