Alabama vs. Florida State Makes Invitational History
The Alabama softball team capped off an impressive appearance in the 2023 TaxAct Clearwater Invitational with a 2-1 win over Florida State on Sunday afternoon.
Not only did that win let the Tide finish 4-1 in the tournament, but it also cemented its place in the history books.
According to ESPN PR, the matchup had 579,000 viewers on ESPN and was the second most-watched game in the invitational's history. It also averaged 115,000 viewers across ESPN's platforms and 38% of its viewers were female which is the largest female audience percentage in the invitational's history.
