The Alabama women’s basketball team added two new faces to its staff recently with the hires of Alisha Grisby and Bryce Dillard.

Grisby was named the athletic trainer for the Alabama women’s basketball program last week after spending three years as an assistant athletic trainer at Western Carolina.

Before joining Western Carolina, Grisby spent time at Kansas serving as an assistant athletic trainer for the women’s rowing team.

Grisby attended the University of Central Oklahoma where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Fitness Management in 2014 and Master’s of Science in Athletic Training in 2016. Grisby worked as a graduate athletic training student for football, volleyball, and men’s basketball.

Dillard was named the director of video operations for the Crimson Tide after spending two seasons at Mercer as the director of player personnel.

Before his time at Mercer, Dillard spent five years at Georgia serving as a student manager from 2015-18 and graduate assistant from 2018-20.

Dillard graduated from Georgia with a Bachelor’s in Sports Management in May 2018 and a Master’s in Middle School Education in May 2020.

Grisby and Dillard join the Alabama staff led by head coach Kristy Curry and assistant coaches Kelly Curry, Janese Constantine, and Roman Tubner.
