Bama in the NFL: Week Nine Outlook
Week nine is already here meaning the halfway mark of the season is upon us. Man has it gone by quick. Lets slow things down a bit and go through the games, and players, to watch this week.
Saints vs. Panthers (Sun. Noon ct):
Kool-Aid McKinstry (Saints) - A prime member of this secondary now, McKinstry is looking to add to his great season by getting playing time across from his college qb and friend Bryce Young. A great divisional game and one where Bama fans can watch two Bama greats face off.
Bryce Young (Panthers) - Getting the start this week with Dalton still out with a thumb injury, (barring any significant improvements to Dalton's help). This game shapes to be the game for Young to prove himself as a capable qb. This is a good game to prove that too.
Dolphins vs. Bills (Sun. Noon ct):
Amari Cooper (Bills) - Adjusting to a new offense Cooper is facing some ups and downs, but with an elite qb in Josh Allen slinging the rock, he will still be effective. Cooper looks to continue to build that connection with Allen in a big divisional game that looks to be a possible shootout with Tua back.
Tua Tagovailoa (Dolphins) - Coming back last week and delivering a good performance in a tough loss, Tua looks to continue bringing this offense back to life. If Hill does not play it could be a long day, but if he does it should be electric.
Jaylen Waddle (Dolphins) - With Tua back at the helm this offense is revved back up. Waddle projects to have a big role in this matchup against a divisional rival. Waddle should have a decent game, especially if Hill does not play.
Lions vs. Packers (Sun. 3:25 ct):
Jahmyr Gibbs (Lions) - A great divisional game here as well, Gibbs should have another great game again. This game will be dependent on what happens in the trenches so expect Gibbs to tote the rock plenty and feast.
Josh Jacobs (Packers) - Another amazing Bama back having a great season. Again this game will be heavily reliant on the run, so expect Jacobs to get the carries here too.
(Jameson Williams will be inactive in this game due to suspension).
That does it for this week's games. Check back Tuesday for the week nine recap. Roll Tide!
