Brian Branch signed his letter of intent to join the Alabama Crimson Tide today. December 18 is the first day high school seniors can officially sign with their new college programs. Branch is a four star safety prospect from Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Georgia. Branch is the 58th overall prospect in the nation and the seventh prospect in the state of Georgia according to 247sports.

Branch has been committed to the Crimson Tide since April of 2019. He chose Alabama over Oklahoma and Tennessee. He stands at 6’1” and 178 pounds and will be an important addition to the Alabama 2020 recruiting class. He played on both sides of the ball for Sandy Creek High School but will focus on the defensive backfield at Alabama.

Branch was selected to the U.S. Army All-American Game and will participate in San Antonio, Texas on January 4. Branch was recruited to Alabama by defensive backs coaches Charles Kelly and Karl Scott, he will enroll in Tuscaloosa after the spring semester.
