Wednesday Afternoon, the news broke that Jalen Hurts is transferring to Oklahoma to finish his college football career.

During the hour beforehand, Host of "Southern Fried Sports" Travis Reier asked Brent Beaird, College football analyst for First Coast News, to provide his thoughts on which school would potentially be the best path for the former Alabama quarterback.

"With the skill position players they (Oklahoma) have," Beaird agreed with Reier. "I'm with you, I don't think you can pass that up. I could see him going to Locksley and Maryland, just because he knows him. As far as the better of the teams, that's not even a choice."

Beaird believes that one of the crucial factors moving forward for Hurts, is the fact that he improved under former Alabama quarterbacks coach Dan Enos. More importantly, how he will be able to utilize and showcase those skills. Especially under Lincoln Riley, who has leapfrogged multiple offensive talents into the NFL.

"There's no doubt with that Oklahoma staff he (Hurts) can continue to improve in a situation like that," Beaird told Reier. "He has the chance to improve, along with being able to play for a championship with what they've got coming back."
