Former Alabama linebacker King Mwikuta has transferred to Jackson State, according to senior national college football reporter Matt Zenitz.

The Ga., native played three seasons with the Crimson Tide and appeared in 34 total games, recording six total tackles (two solo, four assisted), one tackle for loss (20 yards), and scored a touchdown on a blocked punt in the Tide's 41-38 loss to Texas A&M in 2021.

He was one of five total players who entered the portal a day after Alabama's 33-18 national championship loss to Georgia.

Mwikuta announced his decision to go to Arkansas State days after entering the portal, however, re-entered in August of 2022, shortly after a tweet from KAIT-TV reporter Logan Whaley reporter that the defensive player was not on the Red Wolves roster.

The former four-star prospect joins a Tigers team that is ranked at No. 13 in the FCS and is 1-0 on the season after a huge 59-3 victory against Florida A&M.
