Former Alabama Quarterback Suffers Back Spasms
Former Alabama quarterback Mac Jones suffered from back spasms after the New England Patriots' Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins 20-7.
Jones went to the X-Ray room after the game and cancelled his post-game press conference. His back scans came back negative Sunday night.

On Monday, it was announced that the former national champion suffered from back spasms and he is considered day-to-day.
"I’m told Mac Jones felt notably better upon his return to Massachusetts last night, and this morning, compared to immediately after Sunday’s game. As Bill Belichick said, citing protocol in all injury situations, there will be further evaluation to provide more clarity," tweeted ESPN's Patriots reporter Mike Reiss.
The Patriots travel to Pittsburgh, Penn., to take on the Steelers on Sunday, September 18, 2022, on CBS. Kickoff is set for noon CST.
