Former UA point guard Collin Sexton will miss an indefinite amount of time after suffering a torn meniscus in his knee on Sunday during the Cleveland Cavaliers win against the New York Knicks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Sexton, the former first round draft pick, was already lighting up the statistics board- averaging 15.9 PPG, 3.3 RPG, and 2.1 APG, leading the team in points and helping the Cavaliers start 7-4 on the season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers drafted Sexton 8th overall in the 2018 NBA Draft, and since then, he became the building block that the team desperately needed, since losing Kyrie Irving and LeBron James over the past couple of years.

During his Tide tenure, not only did he have an above average statistics line 19.2 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 3.6 APG, but also received multiple achievements, including: 2018 All Freshman Team, Second-team All-SEC, and SEC Freshman of the Year.

Sexton becomes a Restricted Free Agent at the end of this season.
