Is Alabama About to Flip a Five-Star Prospect?
Is Alabama trying to flip one of the top recruits in the country?
Five-star class of 2023 offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor is currently committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes, something he decided back in June of this year.
However, multiple Alabama Crimson Tide football commits are posting to social media to try and convince Proctor to flip his commitment.
The Iowa native had the the Crimson Tide and the Hawkeyes as his final two schools and chose his hometown team over the Capstone.
Now, Proctor is in Tuscaloosa, Ala., this weekend on an unofficial visit and his Twitter likes are flooded with posts about Alabama from members of the class of 2023 and 2024.
The senior ranks No. 12 nationally, No. 2 in offensive tackles, and No. 1 in the state of Iowa, according to 247Sports Composite and would be a big get for this already top ranked recruiting class.
Early period Signing Day is Wednesday, December 21, 2022, so only time will tell if the social media recruiting works in the Tide's favor.
