New Festivities Have Arrived for the 2023 Alabama Football Season
Saturdays in the fall are made for fun, family, and football.
And while the Crimson Tide kicked off its 2023 football season against Middle Tennessee State with a bang, there were some new, free gameday additions for fans in an attempt to bring the stadium atmosphere to all celebrating.
Townsquare Media’s 95.3 The Bear was on hand outside the stadium near UA's Walk of Champions for the festivities. Along with a live band, the “Legends Lounge” was open and serving everyone’s favorite adult beverages prior to kickoff.
The lounge offers various cocktails and seating for fans to relax and enjoy before game time. It also offers cornhole boards for fans to use and several food vendors like Texas Roadhouse on-site, catering to everyone’s appetite.
The Crimson Tide and Blue Raiders kicked off at 6:30 p.m. for the season opener, and, for Alabama fans, it did not disappoint. Jalen Milroe got the starting nod from coach Nick Saban and Alabama went on to soundly defeat Middle Tennessee, 56- 7.
The Crimson Tide will face off against Texas next Saturday at 6 p.m.
