Josh Primo Shows Off New Partnership For San Antonio Spurs
Former Alabama star basketball player Josh Primo helped the San Antonio Spurs announce their new partnership with Self Financial, whose logo will be displayed on their jerseys this upcoming season.
In addition to the team’s partnership, the credit building financial technology company announced a partnership with Primo, making him a brand ambassador. Primo is the first to show off the updated look for the Spurs along with Robert Woodard II, who plays for their G-League affiliate team.
Self Financial CEO James Garvey had high praise for both the team and for Primo in particular.
“Primo is amazing… He is such a nice guy, a really great story. We are so excited to be working with him.”
Primo was also excited about the deal, and in particular about the new addition to the team’s threads.
“I love them,” he said. “I like how it’s subtle, it’s got the nice little touch of blue for the period. It’s simple and sleek.”
Primo is preparing for his second NBA season after being drafted 12th overall in the 2021 draft. He averaged 5.8 points, 1.6 assists, and 2.3 rebounds per game, and was the youngest player in both his draft class and the entire NBA.
Raved about for his continuous growth both physically and on the court, it appears the sky's the limit for the young guard. He’ll look to take on a bigger role for the Spurs next season and showcase the potential that made him a lottery pick.
