It appears pro golfer Justin Thomas is taking his talents from the golf course to the big screen in an upcoming show called Full Swing streaming only on Netflix.

On February 15, Full Swing will make its debut on Netflix. The show is an eight-part docuseries, that takes audiences behind the scenes of multiple professional golfers throughout the 2022 PGA (Professional Golfers Association) Tour.

Full Swing will follow 14 of the best golfers that the PGA has to offer. This includes reigning Master Champion Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Speith, Brooks Koepka, Rory Mcllroy, Collin Morikawa, Ian Poulter, Joel Dahmen, Matt Fitzpatrick, Dustin Johnson, Tony Finau, Mito Pereira, and Joaquin Niermann.

The show also includes the University of Alabama alumni, Justin Thomas. In his time at Alabama, Thomas won the Haskins Award (Most Outstanding Collegiate Golfer), the SEC Player of the Year, and also led Alabama to back-to-back national championships in 2013 and 2014.

Thomas will be a key part in revamping the sport of golf. In recent years, golf has become an afterthought for most people. Playing golf is something most people enjoy taking part in but, watching golf is not something most people do every weekend. This Netflix show could revive the sport of golf and bring in new and younger audiences to  the sport.

The creator of the show also created Formula One Drive to Survive. Before the show, no one in America knew who the best driver was in Formula One. Now after soon-to-be five seasons, Formula One has been rising in popularity.

It's gained so much buzz and traction that Las Vegas will be hosting a Formula One Race on the Strip in November of this year. The tickets are going for as low as $1,644 dollars, according to Seat Geek.

If a Netflix show can do this for racing then imagine what it could do for the PGA.
