The first ever Heisman winner in Alabama football history, Mark Ingram, has been left off of this years CFB Hall of Fame class. Highlighting the list is Nick Saban but a big snub came when Ingram was left out. Ingram in his time at Alabama put up huge numbers, rushing for 3,261 yards, 42 touchdowns, 572 carries, 5.7 yards per carry, 60 catches for 670 yards and four touchdowns. He ranks seventh all time in school history for running backs, behind T.J. Yeldon and others. Ingram was one of the first premiere players under Saban's tenure with the Tide. His Heisman season stats were 1,658 rushing yards (third most in a season in school history), with 17 touchdowns on 271 carries.

Quite the let down from this Hall of Fame class from that standpoint, which otherwise is a very good class. Ingram will have plenty more opportunities to see his name in the CFB Hall of Fame. Until then we can all enjoy his game break downs and commentary on FOX Sports.
