TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Jalen Milroe walked into the Mal Moore Athletic Facility looking to prove to representatives from all 32 NFL teams, including Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, that he was worthy of one of their selections in the 2025 NFL draft.

It seems safe to say Milroe had a solid day in Tuscaloosa. The former Alabama signal-caller clocked in his 40-yard dash time at an unofficial mark of a blazing 4.37 seconds while showing off his arm during his throwing session Wednesday morning.

"A lot of people wanted me to run; I was in the process of thinking if I wanted to run. And so I gave them what they wanted. My goal was getting in the 4.3s." Milroe said about his 40 time.

During Milroe's media availability at the tail end of the morning, he was asked a thought-provoking question. "What was the legacy he left at Alabama?"

Milroe pointed to one thing: the blood, sweat, and tears he poured into the program. Milroe stated, “One thing I don’t take for granted is that I have no regrets. I poured everything I could into the University of Alabama, the state of Alabama, and the guys in the locker room, the coaching staff, their families. That’s bigger than me. That’s the most important thing that I want to express — that I poured everything here.”

Despite your personal opinions of Milroe, it is undeniable that he left a lasting positive impact on the program during one of the most challenging coaching transitions in collegiate football history.
