Nick Saban’s Favorite Breakfast Gets New Look
Alabama football head coach Nick Saban is famously known for his championships, coaching, and his breakfast.
The seven-time national champion is not shy when it comes to discussing what his favorite item to eat is for the most important meal of the day: Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies.
"Part of my motivation for getting up in the morning is I love to have a cup of coffee and two Debbie cookies. everyday. And when I don't have them, I'm cranky," said Saban.
Now, the king of Alabama can enjoy his favorite food for breakfast and dessert.
In honor of July being National Ice Cream month and today being National Ice Cream Day, the southern-based creamery company Blue Bell released an Oatmeal Cream Pie flavor.
"Celebrate National Ice Cream Month (July) and National Ice Cream Day (July 17) with our NEW Oatmeal Cream Pie Ice Cream! Oatmeal Cream Pie is a delicious oatmeal flavored ice cream with hints of brown sugar mixed with soft oatmeal cookies and a vanilla icing swirl," tweeted Blue Bell.
This is the second time this year that this flavor of ice cream has been released. Little Debbie collaborated with Hudsonville Ice Cream at the beginning of the year to release ice cream flavors for its most popular items, after the Christmas Tree Ice Cream became a hit. This included an Oatmeal Creme Pie flavor along with six other flavors.
