Kalen DeBoer Provides Positive Update on Injured WR Noah Rogers
Alabama wide receiver Noah Rogers is recovering well after suffering a scary-looking injury during Alabama's A-Day scrimmage in April.

Ryan Fowler of Tide 100.9 asked if Rogers was ahead of schedule, and while DeBoer didn't explicitly say when the NC State transfer would return, it sounds like he's heading in the right direction to play for the Crimson Tide this season.
"Yeah, he's doing a great job. I think early on, when he first was injured, there was probably a timeline that he's surpassed," DeBoer said. "I would expect him to still miss some games early in the season. I'm not going to set limits on what he can do as far as how quickly he can come back; we want to be smart, but he has done a phenomenal job, along with our elite training staff and medical staff, to execute the plan that was in place, and he's coming along very nicely, let's put it that way."
Rogers transferred to Alabama after spending two seasons with NC State, where he recorded 68 receptions for 919 yards and three touchdowns with the Wolfpack. He was in line to replace Germie Bernard, who Alabama lost to the NFL, before his injury during spring practice. Alabama is returning Ryan Coleman-Williams and Lotzeir Brooks as key contributors in the receiver room from last season, with Rico Scott and Derek Meadows back as well. Alabama also signed three receivers from the high school ranks, including four-star, in-state prospect Cederian Morgan.
