The Humphrey family has a great legacy at Alabama; their father Bobby Humphrey  was a star running back for the Crismon Tide from 1985 to 1988. In 1986, he set a school record with 1,471 rushing yards. In four seasons with the Crimson Tide,  he recorded 3,420 career rushing yards, caught 60 passes for 523 yards, and scored a total of 40 touchdowns.

His son (Marlon) joined the program in 2014 as a redshirt freshman; he went on to play two full seasons at Alabama where he recorded 81 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, five interceptions, three forced fumbles, and 13 pass deflections, before being selected as the No. 16 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens.

Now, the Hoover, Alabama native has decided to step out of his cleats and into the film room to help display the rise of the greatest college football program in the history of the sport – the University of Alabama Crimson Tide.

"Nothing But A Winner," will dive into the dynamic program and the ruthless competition in the Southeastern Conference and show the winning culture the Alabama program brings. Not only does the program make champions; it also makes a man beyond the classroom and field.

At the heart of Alabama’s dynasty are two coaching greats – Bear Bryant and Nick Saban – who, both had success in different eras but maintained culture-defining and legacy moments. Bryant, led the charge from 1958 to 1982; during his tenure, he led the Crimson Tide to 232 wins, 46 losses, nine ties, 25 consecutive winning seasons, six National Championships, and 13 conference championships, and led the charge to integrate the team in the deeply segregated South, setting a precedent that would ripple far beyond football. Bryant left behind big shoes to fill in years to come.

Decades later, Saban arrived to Tuscaloosa and would inherit and evolve the culture of Alabama football. Known for his ruthless but rewarding coaching, he demanded complete commitment from athletes. A guy that many didn't buy into at first glance would arguably become the greatest coach in college football. Saban retired in 2024, after 17 years (2007 to 2023) at Alabama, but his legacy reflects much of Bryant's. Saban led Alabama to a 201-29 overall record which included six National Championships, nine SEC Championships, 47 first- round draft picks, and four Heisman Trophy winners.

With the rich history of the Alabama football program, "Nothing But A Winner" will explore the journey of unrefined teens as they transform into disciplined leaders, showing how overcoming obstacles off the field fuels their greatness. Spanning generations, social upheavals, and championship runs, one thing remains the same – at Alabama, if you buy into the culture, you’re destined for greatness.
