Alabama baseball fell to Ole Miss in the second game of Saturday’s doubleheader, 4-0. With the loss, Ole Miss claims the weekend series and Alabama moves to 22-20 overall and 7-13 in SEC play.

Saturday’s second game was a pitcher’s duel. Alabama starter Jake Walters tossed 7.0 innings of one-run baseball, striking out six in the process. Ole Miss starter Brady Bramlett countered with 7.1 shutout frames, including nine punchouts. The game was 1-0 until the bottom of the eighth when Ole Miss used a two-run homer and a solo home run to move the lead to 4-0.

Alabama and Ole Miss will wrap up the series tomorrow afternoon with a Noon CT start on ESPN. The Crimson Tide will call on sophomore Geoffrey Bramblett while the Rebels will counter with freshman right-hander Will Stokes.
