Friday, the No. 11 Alabama Crimson Tide women's gymnastics team welcomes the No. 6 Auburn Tigers to town for an in-state showdown at Coleman Coliseum.

The Tide returns home following a hard-fought loss at Kentucky last Friday, marking two-straight losses for the team. However, the team is trending upward in team scores after breaking into the 197+ range last week for the first time this season.

Alabama looks to bounce back with a win over rival Auburn at home, hoping to improve its 196.831 average on the season and surpass its 197.375 high-score.

Competing in the meet on the other end is Auburn and Olympic gold-medal gymnast Suni Lee, who is in the midst of her final season with the Tigers.

Lee holds an all-around gold medal to her name from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, in addition to a silver team medal for the United States and a bronze on the uneven bars.

Last season, the sophomore gymnast earned a silver medal at the NCAA national championships in the all-around and a gold medal on the beam.

Friday marks Lee's lone visit to Coleman Coliseum and Tuscaloosa as a college gymnast, sparking demand to catch a glimpse of the highly accomplished athlete in action against the Tide.

Tickets via Alabama Athletics are officially sold out for the meet, but third-party venues have a few seats still available.
