The New England Patriots cruised to a 54-13 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday to snap the teams four-game losing streak in Foxborough. It was the teams 12th straight win and sixth consecutive season sweep of the Jets.

Mac Jones led an offensive explosion as the Patriots scored on their first six possessions of the game. The rookie recorded his first 300-yard performance of his career, finishing the game 24-of-36 for 307 yards and two touchdowns, completing passes to 11 different receivers. Jones threw both of his touchdowns in the second quarter to Brandon Bolden and Hunter Henry as the Patriots went into halftime with a 31-7 lead.

“We finally kind of saw a little bit of a result that was good, and we’ve just got to stick to the formula and stick to the process,” Jones said.

Damien Harris carried the ball 14 times for 106 yards and two touchdowns, it was his first multi-touchdown games of his career. Harris’ first touchdown came halfway through the first quarter when he punched it in from one-yard out, and then early fourth quarter Harris extended the Patriots lead to 41-13 with a three-yard rushing touchdown.

Harris has rushed for 100 yards in back-to-back games and it was his third consecutive game with a rushing touchdown.

"I think we got a little flavor of if we do everything right throughout the week and practice well and do our job in the game, it kind of translates over, and you just play together as a unit, as an offense, and then special teams played well, really good,” Jones said. “The defense played great. It's all three phases, and that's what happens when you can do that. “

The Patriots offense is trending in the right direction. Jones is 39-for-57 for 537 yards four touchdowns in the Patriots last two games.

New England will be on the road next week to take on the Los Angeles Chargers, Sunday, Oct. 31.
