Proctor Named Outland Trophy Player of the Week VS. Georgia
Alabama left tackle Kadyn Proctor has been named to the Outland Trophy National Player of the Week honors following the Crimson Tide's big win over the Georgia Bulldogs, 24-21, last Saturday night.

Since 1946, the Outland Trophy has been presented to the top interior lineman, offense or defense, in college football.
Proctor held the standard at left tackle, playing like the first-round pick he is projected to be in April's NFL draft. He played every snap for the Crimson Tide offense on Saturday, but did more than just blocking, although he did grade out at an 89% by the Crimson Tide's coaching staff after the game. He also didn't allow one pressure or sack against the vaunted Georgia Bulldog defense.
In addition to his prowell on the offensive line, can now add wide receiver to his resume for NFL teams, as he had one catch and run for 11 yards, rumbling his way inside the two-yard line, where quarterback Ty Simpson eventually scored Alabama's third touchdown of the game.
The honor marks Proctor's second of the week, being named SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week on Monday. Proctor was also named to the Outland Trophy Watch List on July 29.
Alabama will return home this Saturday to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores at 2:30 p.m. CT inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.
