With the win, Alabama has earned awards from the SEC, with Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson earning SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

Simpson completed 63% of his passes for 276 yards and two scores. He also ran the ball four times for 12 yards and a touchdown, and was responsible for 21 of Alabama's 24 points scored against Georgia.

Alabama picked up another award, with offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor winning SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week.

Proctor gave up zero pressure on Saturday, according to PFF, but his impact was felt beyond the line of scrimmage. In the second quarter, Proctor lined up at wide receiver and caught a bubble screen from Ty Simpson, rumbling his way down to the two-yard line before stepping out of bounds.

Ty Simpson would go on to score a two-yard rushing touchdown one play later.

Alabama will return to Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, October 4, to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores at 2:30 p.m. CT. Sean McDonough and Greg McElroy will be on the call for Alabama and Vanderbilt this Saturday.
