Stephanie Meadow was able to add one more first in the history of the Alabama women’s golf program when the Women’s Golf Coaches Association and Golfweek selected her as a 2014 first team All-American, making her the Crimson Tide’s first four-time selection to the first team.

Meadow, from Jordanstown, Northern Ireland, was a first team All-American by Golfweek in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 while the Women’s Golf Coaches Association tabbed her first team three times (2011, 2013 and 2014) with a second-team honor 2012.

Meadow leaves Alabama as the career record holder in most every category. She finished with a 71.89 scoring average, just 0.17 strokes above par per round over her 132 career rounds. Meadow won nine career tournaments – three times more than anyone else in school history – while carding school records with 73 career rounds of par or better, 125 counting rounds (95.5 percent) and 404 birdies.

Talley, a second-team selection a year ago, garnered honorable mention honors from both the WGCA and Golfweek as a sophomore in 2013-14. She averaged 73.29 strokes per round this year while recording three top-10 finishes and 11 rounds of par or better.

Alabama has now won 19 Golfweek All-America honors by seven different players in Potter's nine-year tenure with the Crimson Tide. That list includes seven first-team selections, one second-team pick, five third-team choices and six honorable mentions.
