Stephanie Meadow Qualifies for British Open

Former Tide stand out golfer Stephanie Meadow has qualified for the LPGA British Open at Royal Birkdale starting this Thursday.

Meadow tied for second in the qualifying rounds this past weekend at the Southport and Ainsdale Golf Club in England, with the help of a five-under 69 on Sunday.

She is coming off a hot start to her professional career, as she finished in third place at the U.S. Open three weekends ago; her first tournament since leaving the amateur ranks from the University of Alabama.
