A teary and emotional Justin Thomas addressed the media this afternoon regarding Tiger Woods' car accident in California this morning.

Champion golfer Eldrick “Tiger” Woods was seriously injured in a car accident this morning, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

During Thursday's opening round of the U.S. open, Tiger Woods failed to make the cut. This came as a surprise to many, as Woods is still one of the best golfers of his time.

On Tuesday, Justin Thomas was announced as the PGA of America Player of the year. This is the second time that Thomas has won the award (First won in 2017).

Not even the COVID-19 pandemic could derail one of sports' most reliable and consistent trends: Brooks Koepka contending in one of golf's major championships.

Golf had been on hiatus since March 8, nearly 100 days, but the PGA Tour returned successfully yesterday at the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. To celebrate its return and to mitigate for the fact that no fans could attend, the Tour arranged special celebrity introductions for the golfers. Former Crimson Tide golfer, Justin Thomas, was introduced by current Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban.

Justin Thomas, fresh off his appearance as a guest-media member at "The Match II" is focusing on the return of the PGA Tour this week. Thomas will play The Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in in Fort Worth, Texas for the first time in his career. Thomas had two PGA Tour victories prior to the suspension of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

I have always preferred having an end goal in mind, and the fact that most major sports leagues have pushed their return dates to late summer and early fall means that we could be looking at one of the best seasons of sports to date.

The home of the Alabama Golf team will re-open to the public on a limited bases starting on Wednesday. The course will be open to patrons, weather permitting, from Wednesday-Sunday for the foreseeable future. The golf course closed on March 28 due to concerns over the COVID-19 coronavirus.

The Regions Tradition Golf Tournament will be delayed till the fall amid COVID-19 Coronavirus concerns. Originally scheduled for May 6-10 the Birmingham tournament will look for a date later in the season to play its event. The Regions Tradition Golf Tournament has been a part of the PGA Champions Tour since 1989.
