TAMU Athletic Director Claims Saban Broke Conference Bylaws
Jimbo Fisher brought a whole new meaning to scorched earth when he responded to Nick Saban's Wednesday night comments in regards to how the Aggies recruited their top rated class.
Saban claimed that Texas A&M had used name, image and likeness (NIL) as a tool for recruiting many top-end athletes in 2022, and even went so far as to say, "A&M bought every player on their team."

In making his claims; however, it would appear as if Saban failed to realize the true gravity of his comments.
A recent report from Ross Dellenger of Sports Illustrated says that Texas A&M athletic director Ross Bjork claims Saban broke SEC sportsmanship bylaws with his comments, and that the university has been in talks with SEC commissioner Greg Sankey.
Bjork said, "This is personal. Coach Fisher views this as a personal attack on his integrity and on Texas A&M’s integrity," the Aggie administrator continued, "To have personal attacks, to say that the only reason A&M is [recruiting well] is NIL money is wrong."
"I don’t know why Nick Saban would say what he said except he’s threatened. There is a saying: 'An emperor who loses their dynasty lashes out. He seems to be making excuses,'" Bjork said.
What this means for Saban and the Crimson Tide is yet to be seen, as the SEC has yet to release any statement or make any decision on the matter.
