The big story heading into the matchup with Mississippi State is Alabama's injuries on the defensive side of the ball.

Last week left the Tide without linebackers Shaun Dion Hamilton and Mack Wilson, which gives the defense four key linebackers out with injury. One guy that has already missed time but will now carry more of a load is linebacker Anfernee Jennings. The sophomore met with the media this week and said the coaches will have the next players ready to step up.

"We just try to focus on the next man up here," Jennings said. "Those injuries are unfortunate for those guys and our prayers and everything out for those guys. But we just try to focus on the next man up and we trust coach and we know that he'll have the player in and he'll be ready to go."

One player that's expected to have a bigger role is true freshman Dylan Moses. The former five-star spent most of the season working at outside linebacker but he's moved inside this week.

"I think Dylan, he realizes he's got to play a different role than he never expected him to play so early. He's always done a great job of working and preparing so we looking forward to it."

You can hear everything Jennings had to say in the video at the top of the page.
