Watch Alabama Fans Sing ‘Rammer Jammer,’ Celebrate Following Georgia Win [VIDEOS]
ATHENS, Ga. -- When Alabama wins, a familiar tune always plays immediately after the game, home or away.
That didn't change, even with fans sitting under a heavy downpour for large portions of the game, on this particular day, either.
After Alabama's 38-10 victory over No. 8 Georgia on Saturday, one corner of Sanford Stadium stuck around to take in the moment, singing "Rammer Jammer" in jubilation, among other things.
Alabama coach Nick Saban and a few Crimson Tide players even ran over to celebrate with the fans at one point after the final whistle had blown.
"Well, I think part of what gives you a little positive self-gratification is knowing that people who came here and sat in the rain and really love Alabama and supported the team, I just like for them to know that we all really appreciate that," Saban said. "And I don't think it takes but a second to let them know that."
The Crimson Tide fans never left their seats throughout the team's dominant performance against the Bulldogs. Georgia fans, however, began heading for the exits after Alabama extended its lead to 31-3 early in the third quarter.
