Former Alabama defensive lineman Quinnen Williams was arrested last night at LaGaurdia Airport. Williams was charged with criminal possession of a weapon while trying to board a plane. Williams was stopped at the Delta check-in counter with an unloaded Glock 19 pistol and was arrested. Williams has an Alabama permit for the weapon but does not have a New York permit. 

Wiliams will be arraigned March 25 for criminal possession of the weapon. Williams’s attorney, Alex Spiro put a statement out this morning. 

Williams was drafted third overall by the New York Jets in 2019, he recorded 15 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 13 games in his rookie season.
