Is Aden Holloway Heading to Chicago to Join Alabama Men’s Basketball?
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Late on Thursday morning, Alabama men's basketball guard Aden Holloway filed a motion in the Tuscaloosa District Court for permission to travel outside of the state of Alabama following his arrest last week. Holloway was arrested for felony possession of marijuana and failure to affix a tax stamp, but was released shortly after on $5,000 bond. A condition of Holloway's bond was that he was not allowed to leave the state of Alabama.

That condition kept Holloway from traveling with the Crimson Tide to Tampa, Florida, last weekend for Alabama's matchups against Hofstra and Texas Tech in the round of 64 and the round of 32, respectively, in the NCAA tournament. Holloway did not travel with the Crimson Tide to Chicago, Illinois, for the Sweet 16 matchup against the Michigan Wolverines.
On Friday morning, Holloway was granted his motion to travel outside of the state of Alabama by a Tuscaloosa district court judge, according to court documents. Holloway was initially ruled out for Alabama's matchup with Michigan on Friday night.
Aden Holloway was Alabama's second-leading scorer this season, scoring 16.8 points per game while shooting 43.8% from three-point range.
