Alabama DL Becomes Fourth Tide Player to Portal
On3 Sports is reporting that Isaiah Hastings, a redshirt freshman defensive lineman, has become the second Alabama football player to hit the transfer portal hursday and fourth of the week since it opened. The backup interior lineman had not played in a game this season after appearing in but one contest (against ULM) last year as he redshirted.
Hastings is from Toronto, Canada and was a 4-star recruit during the 2022 cycle according to the On3 Industing Rankings.
The NCAA transfer portal’s 30-day window opened this past Monday, Dec. 4, and all college football players have until Jan. 2 to decide to use that window. Four Alabama players have done so thus far. To recap:
