Alabama Offensive Lineman Chooses Pac-12 School After Transferring
The Alabama Crimson Tide lost several players to the transfer portal at the conclusion of the 2021 season and now new homes are being announced. Redshirt junior offensive lineman Tommy Brown has announced on his Twitter that he will be heading to play in the Pac-12 for the Colorado Buffaloes.
Brown played in 29 games for the Crimson Tide, starting his only contest in 2021 against New Mexico State.
The former 4-star recruit out of California was considered the 4th best guard in the 2018 recruiting class but could never overtake Deonte Brown, Emil Ekiyor, Javion Cohen for a starting position.
The 6-foot-7 offensive lineman joins a Colorado program that went 4-8 in 2021. The Buffaloes had the 98th best rushing offense in college football in 2021 and 97th in pass protection allowing 2.67 sacks per game.
The Crimson Tide will return both starting guards from the 2021 offensive line as Emil Ekiyor announced his return and Javion Cohen is not yet eligible for the NFL.
