Former Boise State Big-Man Commits to Alabama Basketball
Nate Oats and the Alabama Crimson Tide have added another big man to their 2026-27 men's basketball roster, with former Boise State center Drew Fielder committing to the Crimson Tide, according to On3.

Fielder, a 6-foot-11, 225-pound center from Boise, Idaho, originally started his career at Georgetown. He spent two seasons there before transferring to Boise State, where he started 30 of his 32 games played for the Broncos last season.
Fielder is the ideal Nate Oats big man, averaging 14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game on 54.7% shooting from the floor and 40.9% from beyond the arc. His top performance last season came against San Diego State in March, where he dropped a season-high 33 points while collecting nine rebounds, shooting 70% from the floor and 3-for-4 from three-point range in an 86-77 victory over the Aztecs.
