Alabama soccer goalkeeper McKinley Crone has won SEC Defensive Player of the Week.

Crone picked up the award after leading the Alabama soccer team to a huge 2-1 victory over No. 7 Arkansas on Sunday. The Fla., native allowed one goal and five saves on 13 shots.

This season, the graduate student has 1,350 minutes under her belt, while allowing only ten goals on 132 shots. She averages 0.67 goals per game, 42 saves with an .808 save percentage, 14 wins, and six shutouts.

According to SECSports, "McKinley Crone recorded her 14th win this season and 32nd win in an Alabama uniform in a 2-1 victory over seventh-ranked Arkansas. Crone holds the record for single-season and career wins by an Alabama goalkeeper."

The Alabama soccer program has had the best season in program history this year with a 14-1-1 record. The only loss came against Miami in August.

Top Drawer Soccer ranked the team at No. 1 in its newest rankings that were released on Monday.
