Alabama softball maintained its position in the top 20 in the national polls and NCAA RPI this week, coming in at No. 17 in the RPI and the Softball poll and No. 18 in the USA Today/NFCA poll.

The Crimson Tide dropped one spot in both the RPI and the NFCA poll while holding at No. 17 for the second-straight week in the USA Softball poll. Alabama is 28-15 overall and 8-10 in conference play with two weekend series remaining on the road at Georgia and at home vs. Texas A&M.

Eleven SEC teams are ranked in the top 25 this week, including Florida (5/5), Georgia (T6/8), Tennessee (T6/7), Texas A&M (11/12), Auburn (12/15), LSU (13/14), South Carolina (14/13), Arkansas (16/16), Alabama (18/17), Kentucky (20/18) and Mississippi State (23/25).

This week, Alabama travels to Athens, Ga., to face the sixth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (40-7, 13-5 SEC) starting Friday, April 27 at 5 p.m. CT.
