The Crimson Tide has already targeted one wide receiver in the transfer portal, with NC State transfer KC Concepcion visiting Alabama this past weekend after entering the transfer portal. While Concepcion has not yet committed to Alabama, the Crimson Tide sits in a good position with the ACC Newcomer of the Year from 2023.

Alabama might be dipping its toes in the wide receiver market again, with another top receiving prospect from the ACC in Miami wide receiver Isaiah Horton.

Horton entered the transfer portal on Monday morning, and Alabama is expected to be the early favorite for the former Miami Hurricane.

Horton was a four-star prospect in the class of 2022, signing with the Hurricanes after he took unofficial visits to Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, and Miami.

Tim Watts of Bama On3 reported earlier on Monday that Alabama was in a good spot early with Horton, and the On3 crew already predicted that Alabama to land the Hurricanes' No. 3 receiver in 2024.

Standing at 6-foot-4, 205 pounds, Horton recorded 56 catches for 616 yards and five touchdowns for Miami in 2024. Horton's best game came in Miami's 50-15 victory over the South Florida Bulls, where he caught eight passes for 108 yards and one touchdown.

The transfer portal can change at any minute and moves incredibly fast, so Alabama will need to move quickly for the prospect from Murfreesboro, Tennessee if the Crimson Tide hopes to add him to the wide receiver room in 2025.

If Alabama does add Concepcion and Horton, the receiving room for the Crimson Tide will look to be one of the strongest in quite some time in Tuscaloosa, with Ryan Williams and Germie Bernard leading the charge with a rotation of KC Concepcion, Isaiah Horton, Jalen Hale, Cole Adams, Bubba Hampton, Amari Jefferson, Rico Scott, Lotzier Brooks, and Derek Meadows behind them.
